TERMS AND CONDITIONS

The reservation is only definite when confirmed in writing. The credit card details are necessary for the reservation, but will not be charged in advance if the cancellation policy is observed. All prices include service and VAT, excluding visitor’s tax.  On day of arrival your room will be ready from 3pm. On day of departure we ask that you vacate your room by 10:00am. Early arrivals and late departures will be accommodated where possible only if there is no back-to-back booking in the property on that day and must be agreed in writing prior to arrival. Check-out is at 10am. Unless pre-arranged in writing, we have the right to charge guests a late check-out fee of 50CHF.

Damage to Peaky Riders property will incur a damage fine of 250chf. We are a no smoking hotel. If a guest smokes in the room &/or the firealarm is activated due to smoking, 250chf will be added to the room invoice. If the Fire Services are called, 2,500chf will be added to the room invoice.

If guests choose to leave their belongings in our ski room before and after their stay, Peaky Riders assume no respsonsability for missing or damaged items. Lockers are available only to our checked-in guests, and we would recommend using the luggage lockers at the train station.

Extra cots for babies are possible at 15chf per cot per night.  For a corresponding booking, please contact us at bookings@peakyriders.ch. For security reasons we must be made aware of all extra guests before arrival. Should the maximum number of guests per room be exceeded, we will charge 30% of the booking per extra guest. The rooms are not to be used for commercial business of any kind.

SUMMER: Cancellations up to 14 days before arrival no charges. Date changes must be made 14 days before arrival. Cancellations within 14 days of arrival will be charged 100%.
Early departures will be charged 100%.

WINTER: Cancellations up to 28 days before arrival no charges. Cancellations within 28 days of arrival will be charged 100%.
Early departures will be charged 100%.

No Shows will be charged 100%, and cancelled the morning after arrival day, should we not be made aware of a late arrival.

FORCE MAJEUR: Peaky Riders will not be liable for any failure or delay in honouring reservations, that is due to any of the following causes, to the extent beyond its reasonable control: acts of God, accident, riots, war, terrorist act, epidemic, pandemic, quarantine, civil commotion, breakdown of communication facilities, breakdown of web host, breakdown of internet service provider, natural catastrophes, governmental acts or omissions, changes in laws or regulations, national strikes, fire, explosion, or generalized lack of availability of raw materials or energy. Peaky Riders cannot accept liability or pay compensation for damages occuring in a Force Majeur situation, as mentioned above

We recommend a cancellation insurance e.g. through your private liability insurance or credit card or travel insurance.

Peaky Riders is entitled to forward the guest’s personal data to Zermatt Tourism. This personal data is stored and saved centrally by Zermatt Tourism (and/or by contract data processors on behalf of Zermatt Tourism). In this context, it is possible for Zermatt Tourism and/or Peaky Riders to send information and/or newsletters directly to the guest. It is also possible that such information is sent on behalf of the Peaky Riders but is technically generated by Zermatt Tourism (and/or an order data processor on behalf of Zermatt Tourism). This information relates in particular to so-called “pre-stay” and “after-stay” emails.
